The National Music Institute is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, dedicated to the guidance, support and showcasing of diverse, emerging artistry.  Through uniquely personalized educational, performance and community initiatives, the National Music Institute seeks to provide a valuable platform for young artists and those committed to their development.

Mentorship & Coaching
Through one-on-one coaching as well as recording production assistance, the National Music Institute provides educational opportunities, instruction and resources for the technical, creative and professional development of an emerging artist. In addition, through its annual Community Awards, NMI recognizes excellence in the fields of music education, music performance and emerging talent development.

Community Arts Initiative
Dedicated to promoting the healing power of music and spreading an awareness for the importance of arts education, NMI provides performance showcases, master classes and lectures in community centers, schools, retirement facilities and hospitals around the country. Featuring NMI young artists, faculty-mentors, alumni and resident ensembles, the NMI organization is committed to maintaining a strong, active role in the community.

The NMI organization also represents a select number of community projects whose primary focus is emerging artist development, performance or education. NMI’s unique platform provides such projects with administrative guidance and the ability to raise tax-deductible public support (donations, grants, etc) to nurture the project’s mission.  In addition, NMI assists in subsidizing performance-related booking costs for well-deserving charity and community non-profits who desire quality musical talent for their important fundraising events, but who did not have the budget or means to afford such entertainment.

Young Artist Awards
NMI's annual award presentation, specifically and uniquely recognizing extraordinary, emerging talent. Awards are presented to artists and ensembles across a variety of musical genre and categories.  It is the goal of the NMI organization that the recognition, awareness and visibility award recipients receive, will serve as a true platform for the launching of their early career in the music industry.
