The National Music Institute (NMI) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting independent artists and music professionals. Through education, networking, professional resources, and community outreach, NMI builds connections across both the music industry and the broader community. |
Our Vision
NMI envisions a more connected and sustainable musical community where independent artists and music professionals have access to the resources, relationships, and opportunities needed to build meaningful careers, while using music to educate, inspire, and make a positive impact within the communities they serve. |
Our Founder

Music has the ability to reach people far beyond the stage, with the potential to educate, inspire, connect, and support well-being. NMI works with schools, nonprofit organizations, healthcare providers, and community partners to expand access to the transformative power of music. NMI also provides personalized support for independent artists and music professionals through mentorship and continued development. Support can range from artistic study and performance preparation to recording, production, career planning, and navigating the music industry.

Harmony Host™
Harmony Host™ is NMI's nonprofit crowdfunding platform for music education, artist development, and community projects. Artists, educators, ensembles, and community leaders can use Harmony Host™ to raise tax-deductible contributions for approved projects, with nonprofit oversight and administrative guidance provided by NMI. Rather than functioning as a general commercial crowdfunding site, Harmony Host™ was created specifically for projects centered around education, artistic development, performance, and community service.
